Yin Yoga with Harp and Crystal Bowls

Kathi Brown-Favrot (Crystal Bowls) and Catherine Anderson (Harp)

Date: Sunday November 9th - 2:00-4:00pm

Cost: $35 Sign up at riseyoga.com or in person

Yin Yoga in the fall invites us to come from the fiery energy of summer into the inner stillness of winter. As tree roots deepen in the fall, we become more introspective. As the autumn leaves drop to the ground, we are invited to let go of whatever isn’t serving us. Using sound and traditional Yin postures, our practice will support this transition, encouraging a slower and more inward focus.

This class will shine a light on the foods and nutrients for optimal brain health! Drawing from the book Power Foods for the Brain by Neal Barnard, MD, FACC, the class will guide participants through the research supporting a low-fat-plant-based diet for maintaining brain function and minimizing risk for cognitive decline.
