ANANDA YOGA
Ananda Yoga for Higher Awareness is a powerful spiritual practice, not merely an exercise regime. This gentle and highly effective approach is suitable for all ages and body types. Ananda Yoga helps you feel relaxed, revitalized, and uplifted. It is an invaluable aid to deepening your meditation practice. Ananda Yoga is a perfect blend of spiritual upliftment and physical exhilaration.

BALLETONE
Balletone Sole Synthesis is a non-stop workout that combines elements of fitness, ballet, and yoga into a strength-building cardio class that also calms and stretches. This workout session is done without shoes to strengthen the feet and focus on active flexibility, core training. You will move with grace and power as you sculpt the lower body and strengthen the abs in this dancers' workout for non-dancers. No experience required, but a sense of humor is probably a good idea.

HATHA YOGA
Hatha yoga is a traditional yoga practice blending physical poses, breathing, and meditation. Class is slower paced and poses held longer giving us time for inner reflection. This class will cultivate our vast potential and allow us to trust the wisdom of our heart and bodies.

HATHA SUNDAY
Hatha Sunday is an exploration of yoga postures, breathing exercises and meditation. Class will focus on intentions, inner reflection and will honor the body as a sanctuary for both physical and spiritual enlightenment.

NEW STUDENT YOGA WORKSHOP

Our three hour workshop is designed for the absolute beginner and the experienced yoga practitioner who wants to review the basics, or has been away from their practice for a time. We cover the essentials of breathing techniques, pose alignment, vinyasa flow sequence, and what to expect in a yoga class. Our workshop will prepare you for any one of our classes and encourage you on your personal journey into the world of yoga.

PILATES: MAT CLASS
Pilates builds strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on lengthening the body and aligning the spine. Pilates focuses on the "core" region of the body which includes the muscles of the abdominals and the lower back. This class will increase postural awareness and is well indicated for the alleviation and prevention of back pain. Not recommended for students with osteoporosis.

RESTORATIVE YOGA with HOT STONES

Classes involve the use of props to sustain supported yoga postures effortlessly for extended periods of time. Classes are held in a nurturing environment and are designed to activate the body's innate relaxation response while receiving all the wonderful benefits of yoga postures such as backbends, forward bends, twists and inversions. Hot Stones are used for their deeply radiant heating effects, allowing the body to utilize the energy from the stones to assist in relaxation and healing. Restorative yoga can be practiced by everyone, regardless of age or experience, and can be extremely beneficial as a compliment to an active asana practice, during pregnancy, transition, illness and balance the stresses of daily life.

VINYASA YOGA
Flow into grace with this fusion of breath and movement. In this active practice, physical poses are held for shorter periods of time and connected to each other with sun salutations and breath creating the "flow" aspect of this yoga practice. Class is dynamic and moving with warm-up, active, and final relaxation poses.

YIN YANG YOGA
This yoga style balances Yin and Yang energies of the body. During the Yin portion of the practice, long-held floor poses are practiced to open the connective tissues of the body for more flexibility. This mindful approach cultivates Yin qualities such as acceptance, receptiveness, and stillness. Stronger Yang poses such as standing balance, warrior sequence, and vinyasa flow will finish the practice to strengthen and invigorate mind, body & soul. The class may include a short meditation.
